About Us

Located in the historic Richland-West End neighborhood (Map), these luxury homes provide modern living in the heart of historic Nashville. Situated between quiet, residential Richland Avenue and bustling West End Avenue, Richland Hall stands on the land once held by Welch College. The neighborhood features classic architecture, tree-lined streets, and paved sidewalks. The area is a premier location, just minutes from Elmington Park and the Parthenon at Centennial Park, Vanderbilt, 21st Avenue, and an abundance of Nashville dining and shopping options.

Developed in 1905, the Richland-West End neighborhood was built on the land that once belonged to John Brown Craighead, whose historic home still stands on Westbrook Avenue. With 90 percent of the homes built between 1905 and 1925, the area presents an unaltered picture of suburban residences in the early 20th century. In 1978, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places citing its 20th century architecture.

Twenty-five Brownstones are located on West End Avenue, bordered by Craighead and Bowling Avenues. The Brownstones will feature spacious three-story plans ranging from approximately 2,700 to 4,500 square feet. Six large brownstones anchor the ends of each building with 4,500 square foot floor plans. Twenty brownstones will offer 2,700 square foot plans; fourteen of which will be interior units. Each brownstone features an elevator between floors, a covered outdoor porch, wood burning fireplace, open living areas, and a two or three-car garage. Half of the brownstones will face West End Avenue, while the other half will face a private, newly constructed cobblestone drive. Extensive, professionally designed landscaping will enhance the exteriors.

The Richland Avenue Estate Homes by Ford Classic Homes will preserve and protect the history and architecture of the area and complete the aesthetic vision of the Richland-West End neighborhood and its historic homes. The surrounding avenues showcase examples of the architecture and building types of the early 1920s, such as, the American Foursquare, Craftsman, Bungalow, and Tudor Revival homes. The oldest houses in the neighborhood are the large four-squares on Richland Avenue. Emulating the exterior designs, textures, and materials on the bordering avenues, the Richland Avenue Homes will complement the designs in the area. Twenty-one single-family homes will face Richland Avenue. The Richland Avenue Estate Homes will feature spacious two-story plans. All homes will have a private, alley entrance.

Richland Hall offers a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a new home on beautiful historic Richland Avenue.
